  • How many people can stay in the condominiums?

    The 1 bedroom condominiums are for a maximum of 2 people, the 2 bedrooms are for 4 people and the 3 bedrooms for 6 people maximum. Ask us for the bed distribution of each unit as everyone is different.

  • How do I get from the airport?

    We can arrange for either ground transportation (a private luxury van), air transportation or car rentals. Contact us for more information.

  • At what time is check in and check out?

    Check in time is 3 pm. Check out time is 12 Noon. Early check in and late check out can be arranged when available with advance notice and approval.

  • How far is the nearest town?

    The area of Playa Herradura that surrounds the resort is a simple “Tico (as costa ricans are called) Community”. Nearby (10 minutes) Playa Jaco is one of Costa Rica’s largest beach communities. There are over 40 restaurants, bars, banks, large super markets and shopping.

  • Can I use the Marriott Hotel facilities when I am staying in the adjacent homes and condominiums?

    The Hotel facilities such as the restaurants, bars, golf course (rental clubs available), spa services and gift shop are all available. The new Los Sueños Beach Club and over sized pool are exclusive to our guests and the hotel pool is reserved for hotel guests only.

  • How far is the drive from the airport?

    The airport is about an hour away from Los Suenos Resort. We recommend Ruiz transportation which services up to 24 passengers in their safe and dependable Toyota vans. Rental Cars are available near the airport or after you arrive in Jaco. We suggest using the van service when arriving at night. Taxis are always available from the resort.

  • What is there to do?
  • What do I need to bring?

    A valid passport (US Citizens do not require a Visa) and current drivers license (if driving). Major credit cards (Visa is best) are accepted nearly everywhere. Colones (Costa Rica currency) can be exchanged at the current rate and US Dollars are accepted everywhere as well. A big hat, sun block, comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a camera are a good idea. There are no vaccinations or medical concerns and the water is safe to drink inside the resort.
