The dive sites are located in the Herradura Bay and surrounding areas, a region characterized by large volcanic rock formations. Locations are generally just a 15 minute boat ride from shore.
A large concentration of nutrients and plancton, make the visibility range from 20 to 40 feet, however this is the reason why life is so abundant in the area.
While swimming between rocks covered with gorgonians, we will see angel and butterfly fish, puffers, snappers and schools of grunts, surgeons and jacks as well as colored parrot fish, turtles, white tip sharks, eagle and sting rays, lobsters and different kinds of eels. During their season manta rays and whale sharks are seen in the area.
Whether Scuba Diving or Snorkeling, immerging yourself into the water is a great way to cool down and to connect with local sea life and the natural beauty of the area.
